Dear Colleagues:
It is with great pleasure to personally invite you to our Joint
Congress conformed by the "I Regional Latin American Congress
of the International Association of Surgeons and Gastroenterologists
(IASG), XXX National and International Congress of the Mexican Society
of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (SMCRC), XX National Meeting, Mexican
Chapter of the International Society of Taurine Surgeons (SICT),
and the XV International Course of Coloproctology", events
of great academic importance that will be held in the beautiful
Mexican port of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, from April 9 -12, 2005.
The participation of eminent International and National faculty
will give ample opportunity to present and share institutional and
personal experiences, as well as increase knowledge for new solutions
of complex medical and surgical problems.
Scientific activities are being carefully balanced for surgeons
and doctors with interest in the upper and lower gastrointestinal
tract. The official topics of the congress on "Medical and
Surgical Management" and "New Alternatives" are focused
for gastro-intestinal, colo-rectal, general, taurine and trauma
surgeons, as well as gastroenterologists, oncologists, endoscopists,
family and general physicians and nurses.
We are anticipating an excellent response from the pharmaceutical,
editorial and instrument equipment and supplies industries, to present
"what is new" in their fields.
Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo is one of the most beautiful
ports in the Pacific, full of history, folklore and tradition. Congress
venue location is directly on the beach. April is a proper time
to enjoy the multiple activities of its tropical climate.
